Our Philosophy
She is an experienced practitioner who effectively diagnoses your dental problems using modern technology and creates a treatment plan that specifically targets your needs, desires and financial capabilities.
Dr. Ziselman is well-aware that a visit to the dentist is not a fun experience and that many people are anxious when they come to the dental office. We strive to make each patient comfortable both physically and mentally. We are happy to take the time to answer all your questions since we believe a well-informed patient is the best kind of patient. We are willing to invest our time because our goal is to create a long term partnership with you.
Dr. Karen D. Ziselman
Dr. Ziselman grew up in Long Island and after living in multiple urban areas all over the USA, in pursuit of her education, she settled in New York city where she lives with her daughter. She enjoys traveling, tending to her many plants and she is a fearsome cook.
- 1976: Graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Biology. Dean’s List. Graduated Cum Laude.
- 1980: Graduated from Boston University Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She received a DMD degree. While attending Boston University, Dr. Ziselman was a research assistant in a study that examined prostaglandins and their role in bone resorption. While in Boston, she sold medical equipment for Sherwood Medical Company and was a visiting dental student at Jerusalem University Dental School.
- 1980-1981: Completed a General Practice Residency Program in the United States Public Health Service in San Francisco, California. Dr. Ziselman attained the naval rank of Lieutenant.
- 1995-1997: Completed mini implant program: Dental Implant System By Branemark.

Our Office
Our office is state of the art facility decorated in a clean and soothing color palate. Dr. Ziselman personally designed her office to create a warm environment. Natural light from the bank of windows floods the office. Take our office tour.
